There is a pretty good quality video on a local Denver Fox News TV Station that shows some views at Mountain Air Ranch and has some interviews with people at the Ranch. Overall a pretty nice clip.
Tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 50s, so we are off to the Ranch tomorrow to see if we can do any more than soak in the hot tub and play pool (the billiards kind). Only about 2 months until the pool opens.

Where do Colorado Nudists gather in January when its around 0 degrees F?
In addition to the dances at Mountain Air Ranch and the Rocky Mountain Naturists Swim and Pot Luck during the winter, we travel all over the world. Ten nudists from Colorado (that I know of) traveled separately to St. Martin this month and had a couple of overlapping days at the beach. This photo is some of them at Happy Bay, a wonderful and isolated beach a short drive from Club Orient.

How to Look Good Naked
Lifetime Television is premiering a new series tonight at 9pm EST called How To Look Good Naked. From the AANR E-Bulletin: "The purpose of the reality series, hosted by Carson Kressley, is to address body image acceptance with Kressley providing beauty and fashion tips." Nice to see a new show with a positive focus on nudity.

Public hot spring West of Glenwood Springs
About two years ago, we tried and succeeded in finding the South Canyon Creek Road hot springs, just west of Glenwood Springs, CO. This hot spring is in on public lands and is relatively small. When we visited there were three others there (a couple and a single guy) and two of them were nude. The spring, at that time, was just big enough for two people.
Locating the spring can be a challenge. Basically, take exit 111 off Interstate 70 (South Canyon Creek Road) and head south. You will cross a bridge over the Colorado River, then the train tracks. Drive 1/2 mile and stop at the large turnout on the right (west) side of the road. There is a small trail that goes down, across a lightly wooded area, then up the hill. About 100 yards out, you will see the hot springs to your right (west).
Keep in mind that this area had a forest fire about 4 years ago, so tree shade is minimal.

This summer I plan to check out Radium Hot Springs. I have heard that this spring is clothing optional and is located near the RadiumCampground, across the street and up the trail by the telephone switcher box. About 1/4 mile on the right after you reach the River Rim Trail on the Colorado River. CLICK ON THE MAP TO ENLARGE

Snow ending on the Front Range
Snow fell throughout the week of Christmas on the Colorado Front Range. But this week is supposed to see highs in the 50s, so everything will start melting and we can shovel everything out.
Mountain Air Ranch had its New Years Eve party last night with 120 attendees. The party ran until after 2am with live band, champagne for toasting the New Year, and a chocoloate fountain with fruit, cookies, pretzels and other dipping goodies. There was a prime rib and salmon dinner before the dance. Those who stayed overnight in lodge rooms, trailers, and sleeping bags in the club house enoyed a sunny, chilly morning in the hot tub and a continental breakfast at 10am.
